Lockdown situation

How should I begin this post?... Tell me, has any of you ever REALLY imagined that we could face a health crisis in such a global measures and would personally experience a lockdown in this generation?!? For one, I could never imagined it! Even after 35 days of staying inside, it still feel surreal to digest the news of what is happening in our planet and the amount of people who are infected by this gnarly virus.  I don't think I have to recap of what's currently happening, nor give sanitary recommendations to you, I ain't no expert on that, instead, we all should follow WHO or other official organizations recommendations. However, I do think it's everyone's role to remind each other to keep positive during this sensitive period, take care of our physical and mental health, follow our local officials recommendations to slowdown the spread of Covid-19, and of course to remind ourselves that we are still blessed enough to have a shelter, food and even, sim...

Travel Diary : Last Trip of 2017

Image
Happy new year to all my beautiful people! For me, 2017 was such an interesting journey and honestly a bit rocky since I wasn't fully feeling like myself. But I'm grateful for of the lessons and experiences that I have faced and I'm excited with what 2018 has to offer! I think I'm optimistic (or at least trying to be) about it! I spent the New Year's Eve with my most beloved friends, singing our hearts out and feeling nostalgic with a lot of early 2000's R&B song and High School Musical in a Karaoke place in Paris. But just a few days before that, I was in London for a full week with one of my best friends. Even though London is only a train away from Paris, it was the first time I've ever been to the UK since the visa stuff always demotivates me. London was very beautiful, dynamic, expensive and unexpectedly bigger than I imagined but I don't know why, it some how didn't meet my expectations, and I don't even know what are my expectatio...

Life Update

APPARENTLY, I'm still a live.... Like, woouaahh, I've been neglecting my blog for more than a year. I feel like there so MUCH to talk about.  Well, for starters, I have finished my bachelor degree... last summer, then I went for a family trip to southern France, Spain and Switzerland. Then there was so many cools gigs I attended, like Rock En Seine, Banks (OMG SO SO GOOD), Glass Animals which was all equally a very fun experience. Hhmm what else. OH, I broke my external hard drive and didn't have a back up, a.k.a I LOST ALL OF MY DATA. And I'm sure, if I keep on going, we'll be here forever. Oh, and I still live in Paris. But the point is, I forgot that I own a blog, and man, it was a pretty cringeworthy event to revisit this disregarded place. Come on, I could do so much better for my blog header.... So, let me make myself some promises (that I might not be able to keep). I will be productive, write and post fun and informative contents outside my inst...

Lyon, France - Where to visit?

Image
Part two of my Lyon trip! Basically this will be dedicated to places to go and to check on your trip which include church, museums and other touristic sites! I will only be talking about my recommended ones! 1. Basilique Notre Dame de Fouvière - 8 Place de Fourvière, 69005 Lyon You might think "What's makes this church any different with the other thousands of churches in France?". Answer : style and location. The church has a Romanesque architecture with the most beautiful dark green-gold-blue ish tone mosaic all over the ceiling, walls, floor that creates the most elegant and rich ambiance. Plus it is located on top of the Fourvière hill, which offers the most breath-taking view of the city. 2. Musée Confluences - 86 Quai Perrache, 69002 Lyon This is probably recommended by a lot of people because of the architecture, which for me has a little bit of the Fondation Louis Vuitton vibe going on - btw not saying that it was copying Fondation LV since w...

Spring Break - Lyon, France

Image
Winter's over, Internship's over, SPRING BREAK IS HERE! No complains for now (actually i'm complaining about thesis, but let's pretend I didn't) You heard me right, THESIS a.k.a I'm already on my last semester WHOOOTTTT?! That got me thinking and wondering, how can I live in this country for almost three years now, and have not explore other cities? A huge country of with 643,803 km 2, that offers so much more that the eiffel tower // from the most sunny beachy cities in the South to the chilly, snowy mountains to ski. So yeah, I have decided that I will dedicate my energy, money and time to move my lazy ass away from Paris and go into wild adventure (okay 'wild' is a little too much) Last Fall, I spent sometime in Bourgogne aka Burgundy to visit Dijon and Beaune, then Alsace for my Winter break on which I visited Colmar and Strasbourg and got mesmerized by the beauty of fairytale-looking cities and I must say, they have the 'fleek-est' C...

Autumn Diary - Fashion Week and life

Image
September is always been my favourite month. I tell you why ; First, its a birthday month and yes this year I left my teenage life! Second, it is Autumn, which is my favourite season ( I mean seriously, who doesn't love autumn?!?!?) and Third, Fall/Winter 2016 fashion week and this season I got to work with Lanvin!!! Let's begin with the day I became 20... I was just overwhelmed by the amount of love I received that day from friends and family both in Jakarta and Paris. And to have a moment to sink in the amount of blessing and opportunity I have lived for the past 20 years of my life. Man, God is good to me. All the time. I celebrated my birthday with a chill and intimate dinner with my friends in a French restaurant called Le Sâotico and we had the loveliest time there. The people are super friendly, the food are amazingly delicious, lovely space in the upper room, great price and they surprised me by singing happy birthday and gave my dessert a sort of candle torch. The...

Ni Hao Ma?

Surprise surprise! I am currently living in Shanghai. I’m already in my sixth week actually! So far Shanghai still treat me good. The food are lovely and slightly cheaper than Paris, it has decent to clean streets which is uncommon in Paris street, I reunited with bubble drinks (YUM), so far so great. Definitely a very exciting and interesting place even though it is also quite a bizarre as the environment and the weather is more or less like Jakarta but it is not. So basically I feel more homesick in Shanghai compare with in Paris. Bizarre.  I also got a chance to see a cute pop-up café by my favourite brand, Kenzo and you can get a free coffee with a very cute polka dot cup! If you're in Shanghai, you can go to mall IAPM!  Don't forget to follow my Shanghai journey on my instagraammm !  This is the beautiful Jingan Temple Top : Forever21 / Jacket : Zara / Legging : Topshop / Shoes : Zara / Bag : Longchamp / Glasses : Swarovski
